  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Mix in the brewed espresso and pumpkin puree until well combined.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  7. Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with the batter.

  10. For the frosting, beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  11. Add the powdered sugar, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and brewed espresso, and beat until creamy.
