Instructions

  1. Press the tofu between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes to make the stir-fry sauce.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and stir-fry until they turn golden brown and crispy on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed and stir-fry the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  5. Add the broccoli, red and yellow bell peppers, carrot, and snow peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes or until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
  6. Return the cooked tofu to the skillet and pour the stir-fry sauce over everything. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through and coat everything in the sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
